Blue Vessel (#13)

The largest and among the most impressive achievements in the Holonic Art Movement, this 4.5’ x 4.5’ series represents a watershed in cooperative art work. Pacha and a handful of local artists came up with the concept of “blue vessel” to ensure a high degree of chromatic and thematic cohesion, while also keeping the subject of vessel open to a wide range of interpretation. Indeed, various renditions of the vessel include seeds, eggs, vases, a boat and a uterus.

Unlike most Holonic collaborations, the “Blue Vessel” panels will be sold individually, but the series will remain “alive” and ongoing. Each time a square is sold, a new artist will be selected to produce a new panel, so that the nine-piece series is always complete.
