Orange - The deviantART project (#11)

The collaborative process of Holonic Art evolved at this point to accommodate an international coterie of artists. Rather than sharing (or trying to share) space on a single surface, joint-effort artworks like these are accomplished by connecting several separate but thematically unified panels. This series of orange started with nine 6”x6” pieces, with the intention of bringing them together in a larger 3×3 grid.

One of the nine panels we sent out never came back. After re-arranging the other eight panels for a while, we decided to create another project that was based on the color blue and to include the blue panel by Kathrin Diestel from Germany in that round.

Pacha painted a big orange Flower of Life mandala.
The term “mandala” can be translated as meaning “essence” or “completion”, often depicting a geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically.

A perfect fit for an international collaborative art piece.
