The evolution of this bountiful canvas epitomizes the cooperative spirit of the Holonic Art Movement. As the painting rotated between the capable hands of these six SLO County artists, its themes and composition played like a fugue, moving through point and counterpoint, each artist’s distinct style harmonizing with the others. The resulting montage recalls the leitmotifs of a French cave painting and a Dravidian temple.
